Man charged with aggravated robbery denies links to bikie gang

A man charged with storming a flat in Turner and threatening a family with a fake gun has told a court he was in the "wrong place at the wrong time."

26-year-old Brent Collins is one of three men facing court for the home invasion last Saturday, which police suspect is linked to motorcycle gang activity.

Collins has pleaded not guilty, claiming he went to the apartment to buy marijuana.

Yesterday, his defence barrister argued he "can't even ride a motorbike."

Collins was granted strict conditional bail and his co-accused have yet to enter a plea.
