There's been a major development in the case of a man accused of stabbing his wife to death in their home in Gordon.

In the trial of Maged Al-harazi, it's emerged his seven-year-old daughter and son told relatives they'd both seen blood on their father's shirt the night of the alleged murder.

His son told the court he'd seen Mr Al-Harazi wash a knife.

The children's aunt claims, in the months that followed, Mr Al-Harazi attempted to convince his son that their grandfather was responsible for their mother's death.

Al-Harazi has pleaded not guilty to stabbing his wife 57 times as she breastfed their baby in 2015.
