Category: Capital Radio News

A Canberra student accused of breaking into a number of cars in Franklin on the weekend has been refused bail.

Andrew Beath-Williams faced the ACT Magistrates Court yesterday after being charged with two counts of theft and possessing a knife.

Police say he was arrested after members of the public allegedly spotted him accessing vehicles in Hewett Crescent early on Sunday morning.

The 23 year old has been remanded in custody to appear in court again on October 21.
