Category: Capital Radio News

Three men have been charged after firearms and drugs were found in a vehicle following a crash south of Batemans Bay.

The ute was travelling north on the Princes Highway at Bimbimbie, when it crossed onto the southbound lane and rolled onto an embankment.

The 32-year-old driver and two passengers aged 18 and 20 attempted to run from the scene, but were arrested.

Police have seized a backpack allegedly containing a shortened .22 rifle and a shortened shotgun, as well as knives, stolen prescription pads and a small amount of methamphetamine.
