Another earthquake strikes near Canberra

Category: Capital Radio News

The Snowy Mountains have been shaken by a 3.1 magnitude earthquake, which has been felt as far away as Tuggeranong.

More than 300 people have logged-on to Geoscience Australia to report feeling the tremor, including mostly residents from Cooma.

Last night's earthquake comes after parts of Canberra were hit by a 2.0 magnitude quake earlier this month, which struck near Sutton.
