Category: Capital Radio News

New figures show Aboriginal youth in the ACT are 12 times more likely to be under supervision in the youth justice system.

The latest report from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare has found 24 per cent of Indigenous children in the ACT are either under justice supervision in the community or locked up.

The report comes as the ACT government calls for tenders for four Indigenous justice programs.
